His passion for knowledge led him from the world of salvage metal to a wide range of interests, with childhood dreams of becoming everything from an astronaut to an Egyptologist, and now a policy pundit.

Currently working in environmental compliance within the electronics recycling industry, Mike balances his professional life with a deep love for history, politics, and culture.

Once a fiery progressive, he’s since moderated, but remains a staunch defender of liberal values, focused on fostering bipartisan conversations. When he’s not deep in debate or discussion, Mike spends his time with his wife, newborn son, and a good book—often convincing his favorite authors to join him on the podcast!
